Dreams
The work in this gallery begin in the recesses of my subconscious, sometimes in a mind-state as I'm waking up or of some fleeting imagined construction. These images are based on my digital photos highly manipulated with digital editing software in a process I call morphographic architectonics: the organized construction of new visual structures from original photographic full-frame images or sections with intentional interventions in scale, repetition, rhythm, density, and spatial logic.
These works move way beyond darkroom techniques; they are essentially artifacts of my inward perceptions executed by stretching the boundaries of photo editing software technology.
